Some reptiles which live in aquatic habitats?

The are mainly four species of reptiles which live in aquatic habitats, like the turtles, crocodilian, lizards and snakes most of them return to their nest like the crocodile. Although majority of them return to their nest like the crocodiles, many of them have evolved to spend many of their life under water.
The main species in this group are Turtles the oldest living reptile. They have evolved before the Dinosaurs approximately 200 million years ago. There are mainly 250 species of turtles. Almost 75% off them are lived in aquatic habitats. They are found on every countries except Antarctica.
SOME FACTS
- Have a three- or four-chambered heart.
- Mostly bear their young in eggs, which are protected by an amniotic membrane.
- Breathe using lungs rather than gills. Thus, reptiles in the ocean may be able to hold their breath to go underwater, but eventually need to go to the surface to breathe.
- Have scales, or did have at some point in their evolutionary history.
