Acid

Acids are the substances which is PH 6 and below in PH scale.

Lemon juice, butter milk, tamarind, vinegar etc are common food items that contains acids in it. The example of acids are latic acid present in milk, acetic acid present in lemon and etc.

The acid present in the food substances are weaker not constructed but some acids used in laboratory are highly constranted eq: hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sulphuric acids. Acids have sour taste and so all acids yet discovered are souloble in water.
